My name’s Taylor. I like to record live bands or events on miniDV tape cameras. The built-in microphones and the tapes condense the sound really nicely and I think it is important to record moments for posterity’s sake.

Rates

okay so how much does this all cost? well, that depends. if you are a local band and you’re playing a small show/venue, my fee is $125 + any parking costs. if you are a touring act and you are playing a big, giant sold out venue, my rate is $250 — i know that sounds weird, because it’s the same product right? i’m putting my same effort and heart into both projects, yeah? yes. i am. but shooting at a huge venue is way more complicated, plus i have to take an extra xanax to deal with the amount of people.

i will also gladly cut deals, of course. if you want to trade for a shirt/record, i do that pretty often too.
